Q: Tell me more about the Coffee News®?
A: Coffee News® was created by Jean Daum in Winnipeg, Canada in 1988 and is now an international franchise with publishers all over the globe. We are exclusive to our advertisers, meaning only one business per category can advertise with us at any given time. It has been in Washington County since 2016. Today it is distributed weekly to 70 locations in Washington County.
Q: How much is an ad and how can I pay for it?
A: Ads in Coffee News® are less expensive than other repetitive print media making it easy for the small business person to advertise – about the cost of your favorite daily beverage! All ads in Coffee News® are also “EXCLUSIVES,” meaning we only allow one type or category of business in each edition, allowing our advertisers to LOCK OUT their competition! As a courtesy to our restaurant and coffee shop distribution locations we do not run ads for these types of businesses. We accept payment through Square or with cash and Cash App. Contact us and we’ll help you find the right ad options for you.
Q: How long should I advertise?
A: We will work with you to create whatever marketing campaign you need for your business, a few days to weeks or months. Studies have proven that most readers need to see an ad at least 8 times before they can remember or absorb the message.
Q: Do I need to design the ad and can it be changed frequently?
A: No, you do not need to come with an ad design. Our professional graphic artist can design an ad from your provided business logo and information. Businesses can supply pre-designed ads, the ad specs are 2 inches high x 3 inches wide. Ad are printed in black & white with a minimum 300 dpi pdf file with all fonts & graphics embedded required. There is never a charge for minor ad changes and we recommend that you update your ad regularly!
